Like the stats of your gear but not the look? On DragonFire-BG WotLK you can change how your items look while keeping everything they give you.
Where
Find the Warpweaver at the fountain in the centre of Dalaran. Talk to her, pick the slot you want to change and choose an item from your bags whose look you want to wear.
- The item whose look you take must be of the same kind: a sword for a sword, plate for plate.
- It must be of uncommon quality or better, and one your character could equip.
- It costs a little gold, depending on the item.
- You can save up to 10 sets and put a whole look on again with one click.
Your choice: transmog on or off
Not everyone wants to see transmogs. Everyone decides for themselves, and can change their mind whenever they like: in your account panel, under Account Details, tick or untick Show transmog.
- On (the default): you see transmogs on yourself and on other players.
- Off: you see every player, yourself included, in the items they really wear.
The switch is only about what you see: it does not change what others see on you. It counts for every character on your account and takes effect the next time you log in to the game.
