DragonFire-BG has a second realm: DragonFire-BG WotLK, Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a. Northrend, the Death Knight, Dalaran and the Lich King himself, on a realm run by the same small team as our Classic realm.
One account for both realms
You do not need a new account. Log in to the site once with your DragonFire-BG account and the same name and password work on the WotLK realm too. New players register once and get both realms.
How to connect
The WotLK realm needs the 3.3.5a (build 12340) game client. Open Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf (or enGB, by your client's language) and put this line in it:
set realmlist dragonfire-bg.net:3725
The browser client on the site plays the Classic realm only; that does not change.
What the realm is like
- Rates: experience and rested experience x4; drops, money, reputation and skill gains x2.
- Together across factions, like on our Classic realm: Alliance and Horde can group, share a guild, talk, trade, send mail and use one auction house.
- A gentle start: new characters get some silver and know every flight path.
- Companions: at the fountain in Dalaran, Lagretta hires out companions free of charge, up to four at a time, to fight beside you when your friends are offline. Others wander the world and join battlegrounds.
- Transmogrification: the Warpweaver next to her changes how your gear looks. Prefer the gear as it really is? In your account panel you can switch transmogs off; you then see everyone's real items (from your next login).
On the site
The Online Players and Armory pages now have a tab for each realm. Bug Reports and Trivia take your WotLK characters too. The Classic Database describes the Classic realm only; for WotLK items the Armory links to Wowhead.
